You are far more significant than you realize, even if you hide. We are all contagious; whether courageous or fearful. We are contagious with our type of entertainment or sense of humor. We are contagious with our values, what we tolerate, what we pursue, how we react.
For most of my life, I have wrongfully assumed I was far more complicated than most people. I have worked very hard to be more "normal" and become someone I could respect.
God never wastes a hurt. The things that have plagued or injured us most of our lives can become the unique skill empowering others handicapped with the same kind of burdens you overcame.
First, you must overcome. I think if you don't try, you may think you simply fit in with everyone else well enough.
I would contend that overcoming your hurdles, obsessions, and handicaps in our life is precisely paramount. And joining others in their quest to do the same, or assisting in some way is the manifestation of a great life.
If there is some strength of mine I can share with you, I promise it comes from a weakness I refused to accept.
